World of Water has been supplying “the purest water possible” to Manitobans since 1976, and if anyone understands the importance of staying properly hydrated – it’s us!
At the beginning of summer, we put out a request to our customers to donate cases of their custom labeled water, which would be supplied to Siloam Mission, Main Street Projects and Habitat for Humanity.
Both Siloam Mission and Main Street Project are always in need of water for Winnipeg’s less fortunate, especially during the months when the heat can become extreme. Habitat for Humanity consistently has a large number of dedicated volunteers working long days on a variety of different build sites through the city, and most of their work is also done during the summer months. World of Water targeted these three amazing organizations to supply bottled water too, as we know they could all use hydration.
As always, the local business community once again stepped up and allowed us to donate over 20,000 bottles of water to all three organizations. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community, as without hesitation we come together and do our part to help those in need, and this bottled water drive was no different.
