My name is Eric Huntley and I have been involved with KeMi Krystal Water Inc. operating as World of Water since its infancy in August 1993.

Prior to this, I was employed by Canada Safeway where I worked my way up from an entry level position. I am grateful to have had this experience in the retail industry because it taught me the value of customer service, proper ordering procedures, and dealing with the public; all of which are skills I rely upon daily. During this time I also completed my Degree of Business Administration from Red River College, graduating in 1992. At this point I was approached by my father, Keith Huntley, who was interested in starting his own business, with a family run franchise in mind and after much deliberation he decided on the purchase of a World of Water Franchise. We spent many long days promoting our product doing mall displays, cold calling and merchandising our retail store. Because there were no existing World of Water franchises for sale we had to build our business from the ground up. In 1999, Keith was ready for a new challenge and purchased a second World of Water franchise and I was given the opportunity to purchase our existing franchise which I gladly accepted.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my business is the opportunity it provides to interact with a wide variety of people: from customers, to loyal staff, and family. I’ve gotten to know my regular customers over many years and derive pleasure from the personal contact it provides. My staff are all dedicated and hardworking people, whom I truly appreciate. A special thanks to long term employee Derek Yip whose customer service, knowledge and hard working nature, customers have been accustomed too for over a decade.

Another rewarding experience has been with a move to our new location at 3275 Portage Avenue which was completed in the spring of 2004. With three times the space of our existing facility, it has allowed us to expand our secondary product lines of vitamins, body building supplements, as well as home brewing supplies for the home wine maker. As well as allowing us to maximize our production facility which we encourage all of our new or existing customers to tour from start to finish, to see how “DEWDROP WATER” , “THE PUREST WATER POSSIBLE” is produced.
