Ed Gallos, President of Winnipeg based Master Roofing, believes in giving back to the community and his company is setting an excellent example for other businesses to follow.

In 2010 Master Roofing is again supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Ride for Diabetes Research which takes place on November 5th, 2010. The generous donation of 1200 bottles of their private labeled, 500 ml. water, bottled by World of Water, is the perfect contribution to the day. Riders in the event sincerely appreciate Master Roofing's donation as they need to stay hydrated during the event which sees the 5 man teams alternately ride stationary bikes in a friendly competition to see who can clock the most kilometers, show the most spirit, and raise the most money.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Ride for Diabetes Research is an exciting and unique fundraising event. Participants return year after year because the Ride for Diabetes Research is highly motivating, a great team building event and a ton of fun. Last year the Winnipeg Chapter had 100 teams, 500 riders and raised $125,000 locally and over $6 million dollars across Canada! This year they anticipate approximately 550 riders and hope to raise even more money for diabetes research. Money raised supports JDRF's mission to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
